Sandra Jordan Wildlife Artist About the ArtistBorn on the island of Okinawa, Sandra spent eight years being influenced by the serene ways of the Asian culture. Later her family moved to Jefferson City, Missouri, where she began creating art at the age of thirteen. After moving to San Diego in 1982, she began to create her signature A Pen & Ink A artwork. With little technical training, her self-taught skills have won her recognition and awards for her works in Pen and Ink as well as for her works in Acrylic and Pottery. Her artwork is available as Originals, Limited Edition Prints, and Note Cards. She also cuts her own decorative mats to enhance her beautiful work. Sandra has produced art using a wide range of subjects, from landscapes to Native Americans, however, she is best known for creating breathtaking studies of predatory animals, such as wild cats, birds, and wolves. A few of her accomplishments: È From 1993 to 2001, Sandra has been the artist behind the beautiful San Diego Blood Bank T-shirts. During that time, donations increased yearly and her T-shirts became collector items.È Sandra is a member of the prestigious Wildlife Artist Association.
